What began as a personal experiment on a tiny Toronto condo balcony has grown into a service helping hundreds of urban residents reconnect with food production. We discovered that even a 40 square foot outdoor space, when properly designed, can yield surprising amounts of fresh produce throughout the growing season.
Our founder spent years researching container growing techniques, testing soil compositions, and learning which plant varieties thrive in the unique microclimates that balconies create. That knowledge now forms the foundation of every project we undertake.
What Drives Us
